Based in the heart of the Liverpool Docks, Tri Liverpool, host of the British Triathlon Championships, is arguably the most spectacular city-based triathlon in the UK.
On August 10th, over 2,500 triathletes will swim in the Wapping Docks, bike past the iconic Liver Buildings and run along the Albert Docks before collecting their medal outside the impressive Echo Arena.
There are still places available in the Sprint and Standard distances, as well as the team-relay; however, they are selling fast so we advise you enter soon to avoid disappointment.
- Sprint: 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run
- Standard: 1,500m swim, 40km bike and 10km run
- Team Relay: 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run
The Team Relay entry option gives you the opportunity to complete the Sprint distance triathlon as a team with friends and colleagues – one person swims, one person cycles and one person runs… and then you all cross the finish line together! It’s the perfect introduction to the sport of triathlon.
The event is also the penultimate opportunity for aspirant GB age-groupers to qualify for the team at the 2015 ETU Triathlon European Championships.
With great transport links, it's the perfect excuse to get together with some friends and have a weekend to remember in the former European City of Culture.
