Part of the Senior Triathlon Series in this region. 7Oaks Sprint Triathlon was back to 3 disciplines in 2024, following the temporary closure of the local swimming pool in 2023.

Despite challenging cold & wet conditions, over 200 entrants aged between 17 & 72 completed the event, with chilly temperatures and occasional downpours of April showers! Started in 1985, the event is part of the local Sevenoaks calendar with sponsorship & support coming from Knole Park, Sevenoaks Leisure Centre, multiple local sponsors & our very own amazing marshals.

On the podium for the Open Mens race were: Oliver Waymark (1st), Scott Wiseman (2nd)  & Tony Raine (3rd) and Open Womens race were: Sophie Vallis (1st), Poppy Raine (2nd) & Lizzie Leggatt (3rd). Other achievements of note: Jean-Pierre Darque who competed in his 30th edition of the race, Jim Knight who won the Ultra Male Vets (70-79) and 10 ‘graduates’ of 7OaksTriClub’s Intro2Tri course, who were competing in their very first Triathlon.

Unlike many events, 7Oaks Sprint Triathlon is still organized and run by club members.
