Charnwood's Tri-Star Aquathlon is back for its 5th year. Held within the grounds of Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College (DSFC) at Woodhouse near Loughborough, Leicestershire (http://www.dsfc.ac.uk/index.asp). The race is traffic-free so is suitable for beginners as well as experienced athletes. The Daylight Saving Aquathon is not part of the 2013 East Midlands Series of Events but is an ideal end-of-season race for juniors who have participated in the series. The race consists of a pool swim and grass run. The first event, Tri Start, will begin at 9 .30am. The event will be chip timed so provisional results will be online by the end of the day. if you have any queries about the timings, these must be raised on race day. Any late queries can not be addressed. There is ample car-parking on site as well as food and refreshments.
