Meeting point
The swim takes place in Swan Pool boating/swimming Lake. The lake has both a 750m marked buoy circular circuit and 400m marked buoy triangular circuit
The Run is a simple but interesting circuit all on gravel pathways close to the lake area.
The Swim and Run will be on the same course as used in the "Sandwell Open Water Aquathlon" May 18th 2015.
The cycle is around the Forge lake nature reserve side before finishing on the mountain bike course by swan pool.
Sandwell Valley Country Park is an award winning Green Flag park in West Bromwich on the border with Birmingham and can be found just off Junction 1 of the M5 motorway.

Overview
Open water swim, followed by an off road cycle route that finishes with the new cross/mountain bike course (easier blue route, black) before an undulating run. Designed to be suitable for both mountain bikes and cycle-cross bikes or even a road bike with grass/rough ground tyres if a skilled cyclist.
