This course sits as a progressive bolt on to the old Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Triathlon or Group Coach qualification, specifically designed towards coaches who wish to either set up a coaching business or coach individual clients. The course will be reviewed and re-developed during the latter stages of 2023 ready for the launch of the Personal Coach qualification in 2024.
On successful completion of the Level 2 diploma, you will be able to:

Deliver individualised athlete programs.

The Diploma will also be recognised by our insurance broker, under the Ultimate Coach package.

Pre-requisites and Eligibility Criteria

Minimum age 18 years.

Hold a level 2 triathlon coach qualification or a group coach qualification.

Hold a valid safeguarding certificate.
-
We recommend that all applicants have at least 12 months of triathlon coaching experience before commencing this course.

Hold a valid Home Nation/coach membership - either core or ultimate membership.

Scottish coaches should contact their home nation team before booking on to this course.

Delivery Method
The course follows a blended learning approach spread over 6 - 9 months and involves:

30 - 50 hours of home study involving the planning and delivery of a 12-week athlete programme.
Assessment
Assessment involves a series of written tasks.
