Single Leg Training

Explanation

Single length training is a very important aspect of triathlon training because you spend so little time on both feet.

In this video Georgia Taylor-Brown provides exercise demonstration as British Triathlon's Senior Strength and Conditioning coach Ian Piper talks us through three exercises; the reverse lunge, the step up and the overhead step up. These exercises are designed to challenge stability, and match imbalances between legs making them a valuable addition to your training programme in helping you across the different disciplines of triathlon.
