Ironman Texas is a grueling event, attracting top athletes including our own Andrew Horsfall-Turner.

Andy is no stranger to the Ironman circuit, having competed in numerous triathlons over the years. But this time, he was determined to make an impact and leave his mark.

As expected, Andrew's entry into the water was nothing short of impressive. With a time of 48 minutes and 50 seconds, he set a blistering pace and was the first to emerge from the water.

The run leg of the race is especially brutal, with competitors pushed to their limits. However, Andrew was determined to push through and give it his all.

As the race progressed, Andrew was edging closer to breaking his own Welsh Long Distance record, a feat that he has been working towards for some time. With sheer determination and pushing himself to his limits, Andrew was able to break the record and set a new time that would act as an inspiration to many.

Despite not securing the top position, Andrew's performance was still admirable. He finished the race in 11th place, clocking in a time of 8 hours, 12 minutes, and 54 seconds. This was a commendable effort, considering the grueling conditions and intense competition.

Challenge Gran Canaria is a tough test for any triathlete, with grueling conditions and intense competition. Finn Arentz was ready to take on the challenge.

With his training regimen disrupted due to illness, he knew it would be a long day out racing. Despite the odds being against him, Finn remained undeterred and was determined to put in a strong performance.

Despite the tough conditions, he didn't lose sight of his aim, which was to have fun and use the race as a training day.

Finn's perseverance and dedication paid off in the end, as he crossed the finish line in a time of 4 hours and 43 seconds. This was a commendable effort, considering the fact that he was racing while recovering from an illness. He finished in 27th place.

Despite facing setbacks, he remained focused and committed to finishing the race. Additionally, his "fun and training" approach is a reminder of the importance of enjoying every aspect of the sport, even the challenging parts.
