Age : 30
Coach : Luke Watson
Hometown : Guernsey
Triathlon Background : Turned triathlete in 2017 at the NTPCW as a short course athlete aiming for the commonwealth games of which I went to in 2018 and 2022, but then turned to long course racing in 2023
Best result/s : 5th at Ironman 70.3 World championships
Favourite thing about Triathlon : Negotiating how best to improve, constantly trying things out and changing focuses. The opportunities triathlon creates, whether it be travelling around the world, meeting new people, or seeing new things.
Best thing about training at the centre : Being around likeminded athletes prepared to do what’s necessary to succeed. The community and environment created by the athletes.
Favourite race : Ironman Portugal Cascais
Favourite session : Anything where I can get stuck into it with a good group around me who are pushing themselves and executing the session in the right way for them!
Non-Triathlon related fact : I’m a fully qualified architect but have only ever used that qualification for teaching architecture at the university, and what I learned from it to set up a triathlon coaching business.
