Triathlon England Awards
Each year we recognise the people in our sport who give their time, passion and energy through the Triathlon England Awards, which will this year take place on Saturday 14 November, from 3:30-5:00pm.
The work of volunteers is invaluable to allowing so many people to access and enjoy swim, bike, run , with 2020 highlighting that more than ever. Recognising and rewarding volunteers through the Triathlon England Awards is one of the ways in which we can thank them for all the hard work they put in throughout the year to help the sport develop and grow.
We are also delighted to confirm that Sky Sports News presenter, Kate Mason, will be hosting the awards ceremony. Having swum competitively as a junior athlete, she took part in a few youth triathlons and her admiration for those involved in the sport is profound.
This year’s awards have been changed from previous years to reflect the circumstances under which volunteers have helped the sport to continue despite disruption caused by Covid-19. Among the seven categories are new ones which celebrate virtual activity and key workers within the sport.
Nominations across the seven categories will be judged to determine regional winners, with the regional winners from each category being put forward for the national award.
