Coaching
People become coaches for a variety of reasons, perhaps a parent wanting to help out with their child’s club, or an experienced Age-Group athlete wanting to give something back to the sport they enjoy.
Whatever the reason, it can be a rich and rewarding role helping others develop and achieve their personal triathlon challenges. The role of the coach is vital to the success of all participants at every level.
We can offer a range of qualifications and professional development opportunities to suit any aspiring coach.
Coach Education – Course release 2021
Normally we release around 30 courses in July each year which would start from October onwards, we have been working hard to source and secure venues, but this has been very challenging in the current situation- whilst there are a few courses confirmed and will be open for booking, the majority are still be worked on by regional managers.
The majority of venues are not yet taking bookings for what we require for the practical session - we are hoping this will change over the next few months.
Whilst we will be running a smaller programme of courses this year, the aim is that every region will have at least one course. During the spring/summer of 2021 we will be focussing on completing courses that have been suspended, alongside activator and some CPD , then starting a new programe of coach courses in the autumn.
