Are you looking to develop your coaching? There are lots of different bursaries and funding opportunities for coach education in the East Midlands. Depending on which county you live in there are some different options available. Under each county are some of the funds currently available or more information on where to go to find what you are looking for.

If you live in Derbyshire then consider the coaching Derbyshire bursary. Coaching Derbyshire can offer financial support for coaches and activators who meet one or more of the application criteria: Coaching within a community sports club; Coaching females, coaching young people (5-18 years); Coaching in deprived areas or Setting up an activity or group to get people active.

Another option is The Get Going Fund. This is designed to help people who are looking to get some sort of physical activity or sport going in their local community. The fund can be used to pay for up to £100 towards a course or qualification such as an activator course or some specific training required to start and activity. It is expected that you are or will be doing at least 10 hours voluntary coaching/activating to be eligible for this fund.
