The LBT Junior Aquathlon,  previous winner of Yorkshire Children’s Event of the Year is back for another year in 2024

The swim takes place in The Edge, a 25m heated indoor pool and the run is on a closed circuit around the university campus with electronic chip timing & prizes for the top 3 in each age group!

Selling out quickly every year, the LBT Junior Aquathlon is an extremely popular event for all abilities to get involved in the sport from first timers to athletes who hope to compete for the region. The 2024 race will also form part of the Yorkshire Junior Race Series.

To have your result in this race contribute to the Yorkshire Series or to be considered for the Yorkshire IRC Squad, you must have BTF/Home Nations Annual Membership and use your membership number when entering this race.

If you are just doing this for a bit of fun or to try out, don’t worry, you can purchase day membership for £2 as part of the entry process

Please take note of your swim distance below as you will need to submit an estimated time when you enter. This makes sure we group swimmers of a similar ability together in the pool

TriStar Start (8 YRS) 50m Swim & 600m Run

TriStar 1 (9-10 YRS) 150m Swim & 1200m Run

TriStar 2 (11-12 YRS) 250m Swim & 1800m Run

TriStar 3 (13-14 YRS) 400m Swim & 3000m Run

Youth (15-16 YRS) 400m & 3000m Run

Junior B (17-18 YRS) 400m Swim & 3000m Run
