Bala Standard Triathlon will be taking place on Sunday 3rd September 2023.

Set to be not only one of the most exciting triathlons that the UK has to offer, but also the most unforgettable races on the Welsh Triathlon Super Series.

The Bala Standard Triathlon is open to all, it’s the ideal race for beginners and experienced athletes alike. whatever ability you may be, this truly is a race for everyone.

The Bala Standard Triathlon is a closed road triathlon which starts with a 1500m swim in the waters of Llyn Tegid, before heading west along the A494 on a fast closed road circuit. having reached the turn-point at Rhydymain, its back east along the A494, usually with a tailwind, before returning to the lakeside transition and rejoining the closed road for the run course. a flat 9.4km run to Glanllyn and back will see you finish back on the lake.
