This spectacular leisure centre offers two swimming pools, a regional gymnastics centre, an 8-court sports hall, 100 station gym, two group exercise studios, an indoor climbing wall, an athletics stadium and outdoor pitches.
This Essex leisure centre offers a fantastic array of sports including hockey, football, netball, cricket, badminton, basketball and volleyball to name but a few. The group exercise programme has something to suit every ability level whilst the gym offers the very latest fitness equipment.
Basildon Sporting Village is also the home venue for East Essex Triathlon Club

Overview
Get your 2017 season off to a flying start at East Essex Triathlon Club's 'Basildon Aquathlon'. Featuring Adult & Youth and Tristar Start,1,2 & 3 events this popular Essex swim/run sells out in record time every year and has become a firm favourite across the county. Based at the iconic Basildon Sporting Village the event begins with a indoor swim in the laned 25m pool and is followed with an off-road run* in and around the leafy surroundings of Gloucester Park*. All age groups finish the event with a lap of the stadium athletics track to the cheers of their friends and family. What a way to finish!
