Blackwater leisure centre has a 25m 4 lane pool with shower/change facilities and a cafe serving food and drinks. There is parking for 180 cars on site and the use of an overflow car park next door. Situated on the edge of Maldon and next to Promenade Park it has good access to fairly quiet rural roads for the bike route and the park for the run section.
