Meeting point
Coed y Brenin made its name in the 1990s as Britain's first purpose-built mountain bike centre.
Today, mountain bikers still make up around half of the visitors here. They are drawn by the eight purpose-built mountain bike trails, a skills area and a bike shop.
The visitor centre also welcomes many other visitors who come to enjoy activities such as walking, trail running, orienteering and geocaching.

Overview
From the organisers of the UK’s most exciting Adventure Triathlon Series, Always Aim High Events presents the Coed y Brenin Trail Duathlon. Based at the UK’s Number 1 trail centre, the duathlon will put athletes on a tough but rewarding blend of famous trails and routes, previously closed to cyclists and runners.
A mixture of steep climbs, rewarding descents and a good serving of the renowned crowd pleasing atmosphere means the inaugural event promises to excite athletes and engage all.
