Overview
Take a “Dash” through stunning scenery and magnificent historic landscapes and sign up to the Dorchester Dash Triathlon which sets off from Dorchester Sports Centre on Sunday 16 July 2017.Starting at the Centre's indoor 25m pool, competitors take on a 400m (16 length) swim which will be followed by a 24km scenic bike course which exits Dorchester via Poundbury and takes them to the summit of the climb of the historic Hardy's Monument. Returning to the Sports Centre, competitors then tackle the 5km run route which visits Maiden Castle, an Iron Age Hill Fort, which dates back to 4000BC.
