We’ve got some great facilities here at Askham Swimming Pools: Heated paddling pool for the little ones?20 metre pool (staffed by qualified lifeguard) for everyone else. This is also heated. Great space surrounding the pools, perfect for sunny afternoon picnics. ?Toilets and shower facilities. ?Private hire available outside of public swim times – parties, events, triathlon clubs etc £50 p/hour including qualified lifeguard. BBQ hire £40 incleu fuel & cleaning of BBQ ?Ice creams, tea, coffee, chocolate, sweets and snacks available from the pool kiosk

Overview

GO TRI has teamed up with Arragons Cumbrian Tri Club in Penrith to bring you a fun, enjoyable triathlon. We start the event at Askham open air swimming pool, cycling around the local villages and running of road up Askham Fell, this is one our our 4 mid week series events.


The event briefing will take place at the transition area just outside the pool. You're more than welcome to leave equipment at the pool and grab a shower there afterwards. There is a great relaxed atmosphere and it is an ideal opportunity for beginners and improvers alike.
