In celebration of the World Triathlon Series which came to the city in June we are hosting a series of outdoor GO TRI duathlon and triathlon events across Leeds in 2017. GO TRI events are an ideal way of getting involved in triathlon for the first time in a fun, safe environment.
GO TRI Fearnville 2 will take place on Thursday the 14th of September 2017 at Fearnville Leisure Centre.
There will be two races on the day. An open adult race (Age 15+) and a junior race (Ages 10-14).
The open adult race will include a 100 metre swim, a 3.6km bike and a 1050m run.
The junior race will include a 50 metre swim, a 1.2km bike and a 550m run.
All races will be fully marshalled, signposted and traffic free. Part of the cycle route will be across a grass playing field. The entry costs are £5 for the adult race and £2 for the junior race. Registration will open at 5:30pm with races starting at approximately 6pm.
