GO TRI Local is for people that are brand new to swim, bike and run and looking to take their first steps in a safe and enjoyable environment. GO TRI Local takes place within the heart of your community; at the same time, on the same date, at the same place, with the same distances every month allowing you to track your progress over time.
Triathlon England is working with selected delivery partners to hold the first GO TRI Local pilots in Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. GO TRI Local Milton Country Park is a monthly opportunity for new and aspiring triathletes to come and give a duathlon (which consists of run, bike, run) a go in a fun and non-competitive environment, with a fully off road course enclosed within Milton Country Park.
Those aged 8-14 years old will do 1km run, 2.5km cycle and finish with a 500m run, starting at 9am. Those aged 15+ will do a 1.5km run, 4.25km cycle and finish with a 1km run, starting at 10am.
