GO TRI Local is for people that are brand new to swim, bike and run and looking to take their first steps in an safe and enjoyable environment. GO TRI Local Milton Country Park is a monthly opportunity for new and aspiring triathletes to come and give a duathlon (which consists of run, bike, run) a go in a fun and non-competitive environment, with a fully off road course enclosed within Milton Country Park. Those aged 8-14 years old will do 1km run, 2.5km cycle and finish with a 500m run, starting at 9am. Those aged 15+ will do a 1.5km run, 4.25km cycle and finish with a 1km run, starting at 10am. The parent and child wave will occur with the junior wave at 9am. The parent and child wave allows those juniors from the age of 4 upwards to take part but they must always remain within sight of the adult they are taking part with.
