In celebration of the World Triathlon Series coming to the city in June we are hosting a series of outdoor GO TRI duathlon and triathlon events across Leeds in 2017. GO TRI events are an ideal way of getting involved in triathlon for the first time in a fun, safe environment.
GO TRI Middleton Park Duathlon 1 will take place on Saturday the 13th of May 2017, starting from the bandstand in the park. There will be three separate races on the day. An open adult race (Age 15+), a Leeds Girls Can women-only race (Age 14+) and a junior race (Ages 10-14). T
he open adult race will include a 2.5km run, a 5km bike and a 2.5km run.
The Leeds Girls Can race will include a 2.5km run, a 5km bike and a 200 metre run.
The Junior Race will include a 400 metre run, a 1km bike and a 400 metre run.
All races will be fully marshalled, signposted and traffic free. The entry costs are £5 for the adult races and £2 for the junior race. Registration will open at 11:30 am with the first race starting at approximately midday.
