To encourage participation in sport, GO TRI Newcastletriclub aquathlons provide people with an opportunity to try aquathlons at a low cost. The event is a 400 m open water swim in Astbury Mere, Cheshire, followed by a 1.6 km run on a gravel track around the Mere.
