In celebration of the World Triathlon Series coming to the city in June we are hosting a series of outdoor GO TRI duathlon and triathlon events across Leeds in 2017. GO TRI events are an ideal way of getting involved in triathlon for the first time in a fun, safe environment.
GO TRI Rothwell 1 will take place on Saturday the 27th of May 2017 at Rothwell Leisure Centre.
There will be two races on the day. An open adult race (Age 15+) and a junior race (Ages 10-14).
The open adult race will include a 200 metre swim, a 5km bike and a 3km run.
The junior race will include a 50 metre swim, a 3km bike and a 1km run.
All races will be fully marshalled, signposted and traffic free. The entry costs are £5 for the adult race and £2 for the junior race. Registration will open at 9:30 am with the first race starting at approximately 10 am.
