A new event for 2017 that will allow those who prefer a swim run format to experience the fun of Storming the Castle. The Aquathlon poster on our web site shows the view you will see as you cross the line.
Competitors will complete a 400m pool swim and then set out on one of the UK's most spectacular run routes over the dunes and beautiful sands of Harlech Beach.
To Storm the Castle you will climb the path from the 13th Century Water Gate. With slopes and 200 steps along the way this will certainly be a challenge, but as always Harlech will be an event to suit both experienced and novice competitors.
Free access to Harlech Castle - The Custodians of the Castle offer all competitors and their supporters free access to the Castle, its visitor centre and exhibitions on the day.
Competitors receive a free bacon buttie or veggie burger in the nearby Memorial Hall.
