IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire is a middle distance triathlon, which consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run with split transitions.

The swim takes place at Chasewater Country Park and is a single lap loop swim with self-seeded rolling start. The bike course is a 56 mile single undulating loop through the Staffordshire countryside. Transition 2 is located in Stafford Town Centre along with the 2.5 loop run through the town centre and up to Stafford Castle before finishing in the heart of the town.
