The very first triathlon event to take place in the UK was held at the Kirtons Farm Water Sports Centre back in 1983. Tri2O Triathlon Club now bring you the Reading Triathlon, a race run by triathletes for triathletes.

The Reading Triathlon has three Triathlon race options for you. We have a standard distance race, sprint distance and a sprint relay. The race itself takes in an open water swim in the lovely waters of the Tri2O lake, followed by a stunning cycle course around the local lanes of Burghfield, Mortimer and Grazeley, before finishing off with a run around the lakeside trail. Look out for our 110% cycle & run sections!

There will also be an Aquabike event with a 1500 meter swim and a 44km bike, plus our Aquathlon event with a 750 meter swim, then take on our 5.4km lakeside run. A fun challenge without the need for a bike!
