Please note - event is a 400m swim, not 300m as had been previously noted. An ever popular early season triathlon which always sells out early so don’t delay in entering. This event attracts a wide range of competitors from all abilities, especially beginners who made up 58% of entries last year. This year we are pleased to include 20 places for relay teams. If we get sufficient entries we may run a corporate section or if you’ve wanted to be part of a triathlon but not been confident in one of the disciplines this is your opportunity. Hosted in the town of Ashington once famous for being the largest mining town in Europe, with the kind invite from Active Northumberland this year’s Triathlon will start at the town’s all new £21 million pound sports centre.
