Welcome to our new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course - Club Coach Mentor Course!
This online course is facilitated by an experienced British Triathlon Tutor, who will guide you through the key principles and practices of effective mentoring for club coaches. The course will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to develop effective mentoring relationships and support the growth and development of your mentees.
Through a series of interactive activities and group discussions, you'll gain a deep understanding of the role of a mentor, the principles of mentoring, and how to create a safe environment for your mentee. You'll also learn how to begin a mentoring relationship, develop key listening, questioning, and reflection skills, and understand and apply models to support growth and development.
By the end of the course, you'll be equipped with the tools needed to conclude a mentoring relationship, manage any concerns that may arise during mentoring, and have the confidence to apply your new skills and knowledge to enhance your practice.

Pre-requisites and Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a Triathlon Coach qualification of Level 2/Group Coach or above.
- Hold a valid Home Nation/coach membership - either core or ultimate membership.
