Course Information

We want to inspire groups of children who attend specialist schools in the areas surrounding Dorney Lake, Windsor to come and have a go at Triathlon at a triathlon taster session at Windsor Leisure Centre. 

If you or any of your children attend specialist schools in the Berkshire area , please get in touch jengranger@britishtriathlon.org and we can get you booked on to one of these sessions running at Windsor Leisure Centre. The taster sessions are totally free for children aged between 8 - 16 . 

The days will be lead by a British Triathlon Coach and will run from 9:30am - 12:30pm with a rough schedule as below; 

9:30am  - Arrival and welcome. Information session on triathlon with some running skills

10:30am - A bike skills session on spinning bikes in a studio 

11:30am - Swimming session (optional)  

Background - ITU Paratriathlon World Cup Eton Dorney

The world's best paratriathletes will compete within the scenic parkland, just outside Windsor on 28 May 2018.

The Arctic One Dorney Tri festival event has become an a established fixture on the calendar over the past 4 years for supporting grassroot paratriathlon competition and in 2018 the elite ITU Paratriathlon World Cup will also be added into the racing schedule. Elite race starts will be confirmed closer to the event however many of the Paralympic UK Sport Lottery Funded World Class Performance Squad will be hoping to race.
