Committee Session - 14th May 2013

A note from the Chair:

A very productive meeting last night and thanks to all those who were able to attend.

Thanks also for all those who submitted reports prior to the meeting and contributed to a very positive and constructive evening.

For those unable to attend and prior to the full minutes being issued - just an update on a few important basic decisions that were agreed  and are effective immediately:

•     A big welcome from everyone to James Ruskin as our new Communication (and media) person.
•     The proposed new Strategic Plan was agreed and is now in place.
•     The new website was fully accepted and agreed to go live as soon as possible with many thanks to Pierre, Sally and Chris.
•     Accounts were discussed and are healthy with an additional breakdown and information report to be submitted to the committee in the next few days.
•     Awards criteria, dates etc were discussed and are progressing – update from John Petrides in the next few days.

It is a really exciting time.
 
All will become clear as these initiatives all pan out and are up and running and more importantly, new iniatives will be well supported.
