Ashwin Sethi is delighted to join Triathlon England as Chair of Triathlon, London Region.

Many years ago in a pub, even though he thought the concept of Triathlon was crazy, Ashwin was intrigued enough to sign up with his friends for the London Triathlon. After that event, they were all instantly hooked and Ashwin moved on to competing around the world, including Ironman events across Europe, Asia and America. 

To further help with training, Ashwin joined the Serpentine Running club, which he says was instrumental in completing the events, where he made many friends, followed the advice they gave him and participated in lots of training events. He fully understands and appreciates the power of the clubs, the network and why he is thrilled to join as Chair in the London Region to further help collaborate and help leverage this great asset.

Ashwin is passionate about triathlon and because he didn’t come from an athletic background, believes ‘’Anything is Possible!’ He has had great experiences through swim, bike and run and wants to widen the appeal to attract a wider audience, be more inclusive and sustainable, supporting ‘seasoned’ athletes, ‘newcomers’ and the next generation juniors to get more people involved and enjoy the fun!
