GO TRI Duathlon (run-bike-run) training for newcomers and improvers with Capital Tri
Starting Tuesday 7th April 2020 Capital Tri will be coaching a 6-week Bike and Run training course on the closed-road circuit at Lee Valley VeloPark.
The sessions will be aimed at first-timers looking for an introduction to triathlon / duathlon ahead of their first race or novice athletes who are looking for some simple and easy tips on how to improve.
NOVICE/FIRST-TIMER
For novice athletes, the coaches will walk you through the basic skills required in triathlon and duathlon, such as bike handling and transition, and give you the knowledge and confidence to enjoy your race.
Week 1 (7 April): Introduction to Transition skills + brick (bike & run) session
Week 2 (14 April): Race sim (duathlon: run/bike/run)
Week 3 (21 April): Bike handling and time trial
Week 4 (28 April): Race sim (duathlon: run/bike/run)
Week 5 (5 May): Race preparation + brick (bike & run) session
Week 6 (12 May): Race sim (duathlon: run/bike/run)

7:30 - 9pm
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
A bike, a helmet, running shoes and you can bring bike shoes if you have them but not required
