On Monday 30th September, Newham Leisure Centre once again hosted a successful Tata Kids of Steel event.

Over 640 children from primary schools took part in the last in the 2013 series of Tata Kids of Steel triathlon events. There were 11 schools taking part in the event with many schools taking entire year groups. For most it was their first experience of triathlon. 

The event requires a huge amount of support from a wide range of partners and a didicated team of volunteers. We'd like to thank everyone who gave their time and skills which helped make the event go so well. We rely so much on the good will, skills and enthusiasm of the volunteers to make events like the Tata Kids of Steel happen, that without them we could be in big trouble.
