This weekend sees events take place across England and Scotland in what is the busiest weekend for domestic events so far in 2020.

Cotswold 113 – 20 September
Run out of Ashton Keynes Water Park, this is a flat and fast middle-distance triathlon which will take in the landscape of the Cotswolds. Participants will finish with a run along lakeside paths and by local villages, before making their way back to lakeside for the finish.
Fix Individual and Team TRI Challenge 2020 – 19 September
Changed from the usual team event, participants will complete a 400m swim, 20km bike on closed roads and 5km run around the lake. There is still a team variation available, with three participants able to average their individual times to find out their team time.
Conquer the Chilterns – 20 September
Taking part in the heart of the Thames Valley, this event will see participants experience some stunning scenery on whichever of the multisport disciplines on offer that they take on. They’ll also have a choice of distances, with a sprint, standard and middle distance available.
KidstriUK Bognor Regis Triathlon – 20 September
This children’s event is for participants aged 8-16 with distances available for each age group, as well as novice distances for those children not used to taking part in multisport events.
Beckenham Place Park Cross Triathlon – 20 September
Offering distances for a junior age groups and two adult options, this event will see participants swim in fresh water lake, before completing the off-road or mountain bike leg and finishing with an off-road run through the park.
Darley Moor September Junior and Sprint Duathlon – 19 & 20 September
Open to junior participants aged 8 to 16, this open event will be held on the closed circuit Darley Moor race track. Each age group will have it’s own distance to run, bike, run over on Saturday, before the adult sprint event on Sunday which will take place at the same venue.
Halesowen Triathlon – 20 September
A 400m pool based swim will be followed by an undulating 21.5km bike ride and a single-lap, 5km run. Halesowen Leisure Centre will provide the event base, with the swim, transition and finish taking place here.
North West Triathlon at Alderford Lake – 19 September
The fresh, spring lake will welcome athletes to Shropshire this weekend as they start either a sprint or super-sprint distance triathlon with an open water swim. Having completed the swim, participants will then bike around the local roads before finishing with a run around the lake.
EpicMan Windermere – 20 September
Based at YMCA Lakeside, on the shore of Lake Windermere, the 1.9km swim takes place in the clear waters of Lake Windermere. The 90km cycle takes place on undulating roads around the South Lakes and the half marathon run follows the Windermere shoreline path for a scenic out and back course.
End O Season Epworth Sprint Triathlon – 20 September
A pool-based sprint triathlon taking place at the Epworth Swimming Pool. Following the 400m swim will be a 20km bike and 5km run at the event organised and run by Adwick Triathlon Club.
GO TRI Hull September – 20 September
This beginner-focussed event will take place at the Ennerdale Cycle Track, providing a traffic-free, club-run duathlon. The event consists of a 2km run, 5km bike and a final 1km run.
