Pallant-Browne secures bronze at IRONMAN 70.3 St. George and more action from the weekend

Here's what happened over the weekend.

IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship St. George

St. George, Utah welcomed 70.3 action where two of the professional British women racing achieved a spot in the top ten. Emma Pallant-Browne secured her place on the podium, crossing the line in 04:11:03 to take the bronze medal behind Daniela Ryf (SUI) and Jeanni Metzler (RSA) in 1st and 2nd respectively.

Holly Lawrence finished just minutes after her compatriot to take 6th place, recording a time of 04:14:48. Fenella Langridge also took part in the race, but ended with a DNF. As for the men, George Goodwin and David McNamee crossed the finish line in 17th and 22nd respectively.

Ashridge Duathlon Standard

Those that took on the rolling hills of Chiltern is Ashridge’s run, bike, run toured some of Hertfordshire’s most historically significant landmarks whilst covering a total distance of 59km. Oldbury White Horse Children's Triathlon

With a whole host of swim, bike, run distances to be enjoyed by athletes from TriStar Start all the way up to TriStar 3, juniors took centre stage at Oldbury White Horse Children’s Triathlon in Wiltshire.

Trifarm Lockdown Loosener

An informal, unranked race allowed participants to blow away the lockdown cobwebs over the weekend at the Trifarm Lockdown Loosener. A 400m swim, 18km bike and 3km run was a non-competitive warm-up race to kick off the season by easing athletes back into multisport. See the Trifarm event page below.
