Siddall starts 2024 on the podium

Published:

Laura Siddall kicked off her 2024 season with a third-place finish at Challenge Wanaka.

She was the only British triathlete in action in New Zealand and came out of the water in sixth before the gap to the leaders grew in T1. She began climbing the standings on the bike, putting in the fourth fastest time as she overtook New Zealanders Kiri Atkin and Laura Wood. On the run she matched Dutch triathlete and eventual winner Els Visser with a joint fastest time of 01:33:27 to move herself up onto the podium.

If you want to take on a Challenge race in 2024 and follow in Laura and other long distance triathletes’ footsteps, then the British Triathlon Ultimate Membership has you covered. The package is the only one that offers you public liability insurance for racing abroad including in Ironman, Challenge & Xterra events.
