Triathlon Scotland wants your views on the future of our sport

Published:

After an exciting three years of developing triathlon in Scotland, Triathlon Scotland is in the final year of delivering against the 2015-2019 strategic plan.

To help to steer our ship for the next four years, we now want to collect views, ideas and opinions to shape our 2019-2023 strategic plan.

The results of the survey will help to inform the direction of the sport and will help us to understand what participants would like from the sport in the coming years.

This survey is therefore really important and will take around 15 minutes to complete in full.

As a thank you for completing the survey, respondents who opt in, and complete the whole survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Amazon voucher.

There will also be the opportunity to take part in a focus group to explore your ideas further with us.

Chief Executive Officer Jane Moncrieff said: "The world around us is changing, including triathlon and multisport too, and so we are excited to launch our future of sport survey!

"We want to hear from everyone who is involved in the sport, including our members, club members, coaches, volunteers, officials, parents and informal helpers. We are also keen to get the views of people who are new to the sport, and people who are training in triathlon and perhaps have not yet undertaken their first event, because you are all part of our future.

"We will then use the information to inform our work, and the work of our partners in sport over the next four years.  Therefore, we really encourage responses to our survey from all corners of our triathlon community and for the community to share the survey link far and wide."

The future of sport survey will close on Monday 9 July at 10am. Our 2019-2023 strategic plan will be launched at our AGM, 25 November 2018.
