A number of British athletes are starting their 2019 season this weekend, with competition spanning across four continents.

Lievin ETU Indoor Triathlon European Cup
Lieven host the first ever European Cup in the history of indoor triathlon this weekend with the race format consisting of an 150m swim, 3km bike and 1km run.
Christopher Perham and Zoe Thomas are set to compete in the 4500 seat arena with the competition split into qualifiers and finals.
IRONMAN New Zealand
Laura Siddall returns to New Zealand as the reigning champion after her 2018 win at the second oldest competition on the IRONMAN circuit after the world championships in Kona. Jocelyn McCauley (USA), who pipped Siddal to the title in 2017, and last years runner up Terese Adam (NZL) will provide stern competition for top spot on the podium once again this time round.
Clermont CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon American Cup
Morgan Davies starts his 2019 season in Florida, USA over the sprint distance in which he secured two victories at continental cup racing in 2018.
Welsh National Duathlon Championship
Based around the sea front in Neyland, the Pembrokeshire Duathlon hosts the 2019 Welsh National Duathlon Championships. The run course is flat and fast, with the bike course throwing in a few lumps and bumps but plenty of really fast flat and downhill sections for those chasing a 2019 title.
Putrajaya ASTC Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon Asian Championships
Peter Ellis returns to the Malaysian city for a second consecutive year looking to improve his 12th place in 2018 over the 10km run, 60km bike, 10km run format.
Devonport OTU Sprint Triathlon Oceania Cup and Sprint Triathlon Oceania Championships
Connor Henderson is set to compete in his first continental cup as a Junior male in Devonport, Tasmania.
