IRONMAN Langkawi, Malaysia
Demanding terrain will provide a tough test of endurance for IRONMAN athletes in Malaysia. Passing through tropical rainforests and traditional Malaysian villages, this race is also home to a unique indoor area for the second transition.
Great Britain has a sole Pro representative in Robert Brundish. He is joined by a number of age group athletes including Dominic Edmondson, Dean Ratcliffe, Simon Cross, Rosie Guy, Shaun Mullen and Colin Stone.

The Malaysian IRONMAN can also be completed at half distance. Age group athletes taking on this challenge include Ali King, Paul Norriss, Claire Walton, Gareth Hall, Alex Ryland, Marc Atkinson and Vicky Carpenter.
IRONMAN 70.3 Marrakech
Charlie Webster travels to Morocco to take part in a half IRONMAN in Africa. She competes amongst other age group athletes just three years after being in a coma due to contracting a rare form of malaria during a six-week, 3,000-mile bike ride from London to Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
The television presenter has publicly campaigned for mental health awareness and has taken part in a number of endurance charity events, including running a marathon or more a day across a whole week in support of Women’s Aid. She has previous IRONMAN experience, competing at both the Staffordshire 70.3 IRONMAN as well as IRONMAN UK in Bolton, finishing in 15:08:59.
5150 Subic Bay Philippines
This event is comprised of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike course and a 10km run through the island of Luzon. The middle distance allows the race to cater for both entry-level triathletes as well as Pro athletes preparing for IRONMAN Philippines next year. Amongst the age group athletes representing Great Britain are Karl Gould, Bryan James Putt, Paul Rawlingson and Julia Rees.
Challenge Salvador, Brazil also takes place on Sunday 27 October.
