The Adult Series
There are 36 regional events to choose from in the series.
A maximum of FIVE results count towards the final points.
Of those 5 races, at least 3 must be triathlons. The other 2 races can be Triathlons, Aquathlons or Duathlons.

The Junior Series
There are four age classifications based on year of birth. Youths will race in the senior GP from now to give a wider choice of races.
Age for each group are as of 31st December 2016:
- Tristarts - 8 years old (born 2008)
- Tristar 1 – 9/10 years old (born 2006 / 2007)
- Tristar 2 – 11/12 years old (born 2004 / 2005)
- Tristar 3 – 13/14 years old (born 2002 / 2003)
