In the men’s race, Alex Lawton (TORQ) is the 2014 NW Standard distance Champion. Last year’s winner, Paul Skipper (Mersey Tri) takes 2^nd overall with Nick Allen (Rochdale Tri) in 3^rd place. Nick Allen also takes the Vet prize and Lee Benson (Man Tri) is the Super Vet winner.

Samantha Dean-Howard (Mersey Tri) adds the 2014 NW Standard distance Championship prize to the NW Duathlon Championships she won earlier this season. Last year’s winner, Rebecca Brand (Man Tri) takes 2^nd overall. Alison Leavens (Chester Tri) takes 3^rd place as well as 1^st Vet as she did last year. Teresa Hollins (Rochdale Tri) is the Super Vet winner and Josie Cane (Tri Guru) wins 1^st Junior.

Having never previously won either of the club leagues, Mersey Tri continue their domination of the 2014 series so far by leading both the men's and women's club competitions.
