The North West Region needs more Committee Members

There are several positions vacant on the Triathlon England North West Committee.

The region needs a new Secretary following the departure of Kyle Lane to Dubai with his work.

The position entails taking minutes at Committee Meetings, publishing the minutes and making any changes to them.  You will also be required to help with the Regional Presentation Evening.

Each county within the region has a regional representative on the Committee to raise issues local to them and to pass on information to the clubs and triathletes in that county.  There are currently vacancies for representatives for Cumbria, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.  If you live in any of these counties and can spare the time to attend the Committee Meetings please contact Dave Rigby who is Chairman of the region in the first instance.

All the roles on the committee are voluntary, however, you would be able to claim travelling expenses to the meetings.  We try to keep the meetings lively and consice and they are the place to raise any relevant issues you may have and get them escalated to national level if appropriate.
