Triathlon England Youth Forum are attending the Triathlon Festival

The Triathlon England Youth Forum are made up of 9 volunteers from across England. The Youth Forum represent the views of all young triathletes in future triathlon programmes and help Triathlon England engage younger audiences.

What does this mean for the Triathlon Festival? 

It means that they will be in attendance and aiming to engage the next generation and maybe even find our next Alistair Brownlee!

They will have a fully interactive stand aiming to get kids involved in triathlon (ages up to 14) involving a run/bike/run.

Adults are also able take part in these events too - don’t worry]

Participants in the mini duathlon will be able to win prizes throughout the day!

 

The Triathlon Festival is a full day of talks from industry experts, including Andy Lewis MBE Paralympic Gold Medalist, Simon Ward Multi Award Winning Level 3 Triathlon Coach, Scott Murray Level 3 Triathlon Coach, Rob Griffiths Level 3 Triathlon Coach and Vicky Balfour a top cycling mechanic who will be hosting some drop in sessions so you can learn about the essentials of bike maintenance. 

There are many more experts on the line up which makes for an incredible day of learning and developing yourself no matter what your ability it. 

Along with a full list of speakers there is also the Expo area where you can purchase the latest equipment from top triathlon brands. 

Plus, brand new for this year they have a Super Sprint Duathlon to take part in: The Triathlon Festival’s Super Sprint Duathlon involving a 1.5km run, 10km bike and a 1.5km run. 

There is something for everyone on the day, with talks, activities and prizes to be won. 

Tickets are available for the day from £8 and for the Duathlon from £20. Kids go free with a paying adult.
