Mike Green has been volunteering for many years, he is a key member of the the South East committee AND South Central's committee. Here's a little interview with him!

How long have you been volunteering in Triathlon? 19 years

What does your volunteering role entail? Promoting Triathlon at grass roots and continuity of athlete development.

What is most rewarding from your volunteer role? To see children develop into full time athletes.

What is your motivation to volunteer in Triathlon? Your children, get involved with what they do.

As a volunteer in triathlon, what have you been most pleased with/greatest success? Awarded the Sussex County Volunteer of the year award  2005

How could a volunteer make a difference to the sport of Triathlon? It adds professionalism to an event as its runs more smoothly with plenty of assistance and you get accurate results! Dont complain about the event join the team and improve within.
