The Triathlon England South East committee are hosting club evenings this summer to provide an opportunity to meet members of the regional committee and network with other clubs in your county.
The Triathlon England South East Committee would like to provide the opportunity for all Triathlon England affiliated clubs to get together with other clubs in their county and their Regional Commitee county representative to informally spend the evening chatting triathlon.
These get togethers will be very relaxed in a friendly pub at a central location and will provide the chance to learn more about the regional committee, provide feedback and make suggestions for the development of triathlon and work of the South East Regional Committee. The evenings will also provide a great chance to meet other triathletes and club officers, to share good practice and to get to know each other.
The following dates have been confirmed:
- Surrey Triathlon England affiliated clubs - Thursday 4th June - 8pm - The Market Stores, Reigate.
- Sussex Triathlon England affiliated clubs - Thursday 11th June - 8pm - Venue to be confirmed
- Kent Triathlon England affiliated clubs - Date to be announced soon.
The evenings are opened to every affiliated club, and it would be fantastic for every club to be represented in some form, whether club chairman, club officer or even just club member!
South East Regional Manager, Jenny Vincent will also be attending each meeting and said
"I am very much looing forward to these evenings, speaking to the clubs, forming and maintaining a close relationship is key my work. The Surrey club meeting was a real success in 2014 and it is great news that we are able to offer this opportunity to all three counties in the South East this year."
