As the number of events continue to grow in the South East, we need to recruit new officials to support! For more information about the Local Technical Officials course and what the qualification includes please visit http://www.triathlonengland.org/get-involved/officials/local-technical-official

The 2015 triathlon season saw more Triathlon England permitted events than ever before in the South East, with some great new organisers getting involved.

Each permitted event has the opportunity to have a Triathlon England Local Technical Official (LTO) or Regional Technical Official (RTO) in attendance, to help to create a positive race experience and to ensure the rules of Triathlon are adhered to by all competitors.

Triathlon England South East already have a fantastic workforce of qualified officials, and this is headed up by the Regional Technical Coordinator, Clare Donovan. However, in order to keep up with the growth of the sport and events, the region need to continue to recruit new officials to begin their officiating journey.

This begins with attending a Local Techical Officials course. For more information about the Local Technical Officials course and what the qualification includes click here.

The next LTO course is taking place on:

Date Venue Time
Sunday 24th January 2016 Shorne Woods Country Park, Kent, DA12 3HX  8.30am - 4.30pm

If you would like to apply for this course please sign up here.

The Regional Commitee will support Triathlon England members who wish to get involved as officials. Our aim in this area for 2015, is that every affiliated Triathlon England club in the South East has at least one Local Technical Official.

If you would like to learn more about course dates, the officiating programme, or you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Clare.
