On Sunday 14th September, the selection day saw the selection day for the South East Regional Academy take place in Eastbourne.
After a tough selection day on the 14th September, 14 athletes were selected onto the South East regional academy for the year 2014/15.
These athletes all attained a silver points level or above:

An affiliate group has also been formed, with athletes being invited to attend the relevant academy sessions. These athletes all achieved the bronze points level or higher:

Our regional academy days kick off on the 4th October, with the main academy squad, followed by a further 10 days planned before the first event of 2015 - the Elite National Duathlon for youth and juniors.
The focus for this squad will be to help and support them continue to build and develop their skills and performance level appropriately with long term development being the priority.
The squad will aim to compete in the national youth and junior super series during 2015.
