Well think no more, Triathlon England SW would like to help you become a GOTRI event organiser.

GO TRI is an initiative by Triathlon England. It provides people with the opportunity to take part in multisport activities regularly and at a minimal cost. At each venue an organiser will run GO TRI events with the entry fee agreed with Triathlon England before it’s launched. The events are low key and therefore a nish gantry, goody bags etc... are not required and events will have a maximum capacity agreed between the Event Organiser and Triathlon England.

The aim of GO TRI is for people to discover the sport, enjoy the achievement of finishing
an event and believing that triathlon and its related multisport is for them. For many who take part this will be their rst entry into the sport. Many will then go onto standard club and commercial events already established on the calendar. The events will be short, easy to access and regular. What you decide as regular is up to you.

Events are very basic. You need to consider how many volunteers you will need for your events; Triathlon England will discuss this with you although any event requiring more than 10 volunteers may need a rethink. We’ll supply you with everything you need - signage, volunteer waist jackets and feather ags for the nish. The events can be triathlon – pool or open water based, on or o road. Duathlon – on or o road and aquathlon – pool based or open water.
