Just under three weeks to go until Triathlon England South West crown, it’s Standard Distance Champions.

On the 8th September 2019 Bournemouth International Triathlon will host the Triathlon England South West Standard Distance Championships.
The event is set on Trip Advisors voted best beach in the UK and the blue flag beach is a top tourist destination making it a great triathlon to bring the family to.
This new area for the start/finish and transition allows room for growth. There has already been a large surge in entries for Bournemouth and by moving the transition to West Cliff Gardens we have the space to grow.
The start and swim is now on the West side of the pier and you head west instead of east. You will then head up the West Cliff zig zags to the gardens for transition.
The bike route is exactly the same but you join it just before the Durley roundabout.
The run route takes you past the front of the BIC heading down hill and turning right before the pier heading to Sandbanks and back. Magically flat and fast!

Bournemouth International Triathlon is not just about Triathlon. It has an aquathlon, 750m swim and 5K run. If you are thinking about join the GB Age group team for Aquathlon, you can use this event as your qualifying race.
Finally there is a long swim option, 2.5K or 5K swim, something for everyone!
